I like Duckworth. She is awesome.
That said, I think this is chaffe.
Anyone who can do math knows Harris is the best pick.
As that is so obvious it could be anticlimactic and not yield the boost/buzz a VP pick usually gone upon announcement.
Glad to see Biden has better strategists.

Well, she’d be a safer choice in that regard, since she’s from a blue state with a Democratic governor.
Biden has a nice problem, it seems to me, in that he has a decent number of women from which to choose who’d make solid VP choices. All that said (and I have nothing at all against Duckworth–she seems more than worthy of consideration to me), I’m still pulling for Harris.

I have a sinking feeling Biden is going to screw this up. Waffle for months and then just pick someone from a battleground state which never seems to work.
Just pick Kamala Harris and be done with it.

Harris brings nothing to the ticket but symbolism and has a lot of baggage as a prosecutor (look what happened to Klobuchar because of that.)
Also, we don’t need any more votes in California, or NY or Washington St.
We need votes in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Florida.
Duckworth will help in all those states, as would Demming (especially in Florida.)
I still like Susan Rice for VP, she would kick Pence’s ass in any debate, and can run rings around any Trump minions who attack her, and you still get the symbolism with her (or Demming)
I would rather see Harris as AG in a Biden administration.
BUT, I will Vote Blue, no matter who.
