It took the 16 hours to make up a new narrative. Was the delay due to translating Russian to English?
I think you meant to say that “PA, MD, CT, FL, NY” will be hard states for Bernie.
I think his vote everywhere is smaller than it was in 2016. Until yesterday he could blame that on the large number of candidates.
I usually like Robert Reich. But in this case, I think he is wrong. The responses to his assertion are clear.

Truly, in what dimension does the Vice President under one of the most honorable Presidents ever remotely equate the Orange Menace, who history is already calling the worst President ever?
Status Quo? My ass…
Oh, him again.
So now they’re throwing Liz under the bus for staying in?
C’mon to our side, Liz, you’ve had enough snakes.
That’s right. you don’t have to stop fighting for the issues you believe in. You just have to stop treating that advocacy like a zero sum thing. If your candidate doesn’t win, do your best to to push their policies in the direction you support. But you have to elect the person who can be persuaded. Biden will stay disciplined asking Sanders folks to join the campaign to eject Trump, no matter the rhetoric.
Unfortunately, some believe the dangerous theory that you need to let the system be destroyed before you can build the one you want–better to let Trump win and count on some future backlash that catapults the leftist wing into power. Problem is, Trump will destroy the system if we give him a chance, but in a way that will make future progress & democratic constitutional order so much harder (if we even live through it).
They think Obama was a corporatist sellout too.
I very much doubt that. Some, no doubt will, but Warren’s supporters tend to be educated and older than Bernie’s base and many will chose Biden over Sanders as a matter of practicality. Best case is a 50:50 split.
Not just down in Vermont, but a huge drop … four years ago, Sanders got 85% in Vermont in the primary against Clinton … yesterday, he just barely reached 50% in Vermont.

100% this. I want someone to fix the system, not promise to break it with a different sledgehammer.
Ya’ put a little Grey Poupon on a sandwich, and all of the sudden you’re a sellout.
This thing is nearly done. Bye bye Bernie!
Oy!!!..you know, the bottom line is…humans are gonna human. There is no perfect system or group of humans. All politicians have issues or imperfections. And NO, this is NOT my way of saying it doesn’t matter who you vote for. It’s my way of saying analyze carefully and don’t fully condemn OR laud anyone until you have investigated.
If we hold out for perfection, we could never vote. I think the problem is that generally Americans want to be able to vote and THEN not have to participate. They want the elected officials to do everything. The reality is…we need to participate and watch what all of them do. IF we stay involved, there is less of a chance that politicians will be lured to the dark side. WE are THEIR bosses. Never forget that.
I heard that as ‘Yeah, he lost but at least he was pure.’
According to the poll, Joe Biden is leading the way in Michigan.
OT, but here’s another Amash challenger. Family owns big superstores all over Michigan. Husband was traveling around there today and saw signs up for him.
GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Peter Meijer, the grandson of late retail magnate Fred Meijer, announced Wednesday that’s he joining a growing field of Republican candidates seeking to unseat U.S. Rep. Justin Amash in the August 2020 primary for Michigan’s 3rd Congressional District.
Also, Amash was a courageous voice. You, bearded man? Are you as courageous?
Exactly. Read the responses to his tweet.
Media pundits have had a blind spot about this for months, or forever. They keep assuming we pick candidates purely on ideology. As someone else said, “I choose Warren because she is stunningly competent.”
That guy looks like an Onion stock photo.
