Barr has no credibility denying that he wasn’t in on this scheme since Day 1. He has amply proved his willingness to lie, mislead, and distort facts to benefit Trump.

So William Barr was suppressing a whistleblower report that implicated him in corruption?
He should be gone right now.
It doesn’t matter if he was “involved in Trump’s smear campaign”, he was involved in suppressing evidence that he was being enlisted in an abuse of power.
He and Trump always do this, address a point just to the side of the real one.
“I hadn’t yet gotten the opportunity to actually abuse power by helping Zelensky manufacture dirt on Trump’s political enemy”. Yeah okay, that’s not what you’re being accused of, at least not in this instance.

Can anything from Mr. Barr not be taken with a grain of salt? This man resembles a weasel more than he does an AG. Though there’s no evidence of his direct involvement, I seriously wonder how he could be mentioned by Mr. Trump to Mr. Zelensky and not be in the loop on this. But, then again, Mr. Trump is not known for keeping his staff informed, is he? Maybe, Mr. Giuliani should comment if that could help.
