I haven’t heard a peep outta him. another profile in courage.
I’m sure you’re right. I’m so tired of waking up to abusive tweets every day, I could scream. Maybe I will.
Hogan has certainly been quiet – so far.
I’m definitely disappointed Hogan didn’t launch an utterly quixotic Presidential run. (As opposed to the 97 Democrats who are charging 2020 windmills…)
I mean: the guy is a cancer survivor, openly critical of his party’s unquestioned national leader on the most profound and principled grounds. WTF does he have to lose? Nobody would expect him to win anything – it’s house money all the way.
Who wouldn’t want to just let 'er rip for a year or so? I mean, don’tcha think it’d be fun?
Is there a Federal penitentiary in Baltimore?
Would be sweet justice once Donnie is convicted…
Smart move.
Everyone knows that to shut up a blow hard, you don’t engage, rather redirect. Take the oxygen await from DJT (not too hard with POTUS McCheese).
When Trump lashes. point out what Trump should be or could have been doing to fix the problem rather than bark back.
Point out that he’s a whiny little b*tch. (Thanks Bill Maher) and move on.
They’re not allowed to deliberately introduce vermin into the penitentiary. Some kind of law, I think.

Does any one of them overlook a golf course? A McDonalds?
… and the Orioles are in last place!
The mayor is smart. He knew not to focus on race.
Not to get into back & forth on whether this is or is not racism.
As media looks for new sound bite to continue race hustling charade.
Not this mayor.
He pivoted to issues.
Talk about the power of federal funds that Trump can allocate to solve the problems.
Very smart.
Here’s what you can do.
Here’s how.
The focus needs to be on issues & solutions & Trumps power to effect change.
Not race & racism. His response did not give Trump votes.
Twitter promised that the accounts of politicians would be flagged for violating terms of service if Twitter felt they couldn’t just delete the account.
Yet no flags on trump’s account…
From the Washington Post:
Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan ( R ), in a separate radio interview, said the president’s comments were “outrageous and inappropriate”
Hogan, who received some criticism over the weekend for his initially muted response, defended his record Monday on “The C4 Show” on Baltimore’s WBAL radio station, noting that he was quick to condemn Trump’s recent call for four Democratic members of the U.S. House of Representatives — all women of color — to “go back” to the “places from which they came.”
“You can’t find another Republican governor in America that has been more critical of the president,” Hogan told host Clarence M. Mitchell IV.
Hogan said the city and state need the federal government to help improve Baltimore and called on both Trump and Cummings to provide the assistance the city needs.
“Let’s stop the tweeting and get to work,” he said.
My take - Hogan felt the outrage over trump’s comments and his failure to call them out, so he comes out now against them - but still tries to put part of the onus on Cummings…
[The radio host should have asked Hogan “As Governor, what have you done to help Baltimore lately?”]
It’s the deliberate intention of the citizenship census question, to make Baltimore’s and every other city’s problems worse. Whatever it takes to elect more Republicans.
And, oddly enough, most of the shooters are trump cultists and white supremacists (but I repeat myself).
