Michele Bachmann argued that President Obama should have tried to stop Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak from falling, saying that “we saw President [Hosni] Mubarak fall while President Obama sat on his hands.”Bachmann was speaking to about 400 people at the California Republican convention Friday, and as the National Journal reports, blamed President Obama’s for “the hostilities of the Arab spring,” which saw the toppling of regimes in Egypt, Tunisia and Libya and pro-democracy protests across the region.
