‘Attack On Our Workplace’: 370 Congressional Aides Sign Onto Letter Urging Trump Conviction | Talking Points Memo

Leahy: Ms. Lindsey, give me the f’n gavel!

Graham: sniffle, whine, moan

Leahy: Garland, you’re in here tomorrow and AG by Monday morning.

The staffers can expect to go with their bosses back to the lands of their constituents where they would be vulnerable to personal assault from locals who would have been well informed of the identity of what they would consider traitors to the coup. O to be young, educated and a dignity wraith from the first job. Get in the harness, kids.

Miscellany. Propaganda.

Hemmer is also fatally coy and craven “seen as a racist.” Seen by whom? Many people? People around a water cooler? In a diner?

ETA Knowledge is the opposite of belief.

I’ll believe it when I see Attorney General Garland take down the disgraced one-term, twice impeached MF. And then release the unredacted Mueller files. All of them.

Trump is a gangster. This is gangster behavior

And it is in our Politics, even with Trump out of Office.

There are too many people in the United States with intelligence, integrity and means for Trumpist gangsterism to continue.

For one thing, it’s Bad For Business. Business depends on the kinds of safety that Trumpism takes away.

There was a report, shortly after the riot, that Rethuglican aids were furious and threatening to quit if their bosses didn’t vote to convict.

Apparently their anger has died and they have made themselves as craven as their bosses.

Entirely consistent with the gangster “whisper in the ear”** of the threatened person.

One other thing:

Superman (in Superman II) would have lost to the three villains without the gimmick he ran at the Fortress. Setting aside the fact that it was three-to-one, the Baddies were allowed to be murderous.

For whatever reason, we now have a “news” service (FOX News) which is in favor of condoning anti-social people.

OTOH I can see Congressional law enforcement keeping that fact quiet. If for no other reason than not to upset the Congress Critters that oversee their paychecks and workplace.

Profiles in courage. This will now be dismissed by the right and their media attack dogs as partisan. Cuz you know only libtard snow flakes can’t handle armed attacks at work.

I can see them keeping quiet if doing otherwise threatened to harm ongoing investigations, but there is zero chance that they would do so out of sympathy for the viewpoint of anybody who helped get their colleagues killed, maimed, and suicided.

They now use as excuses what would have been once deemed failings

In any other workplace, this a would not be a thing. If a group of nuts invaded your place of business, would you not throw the book at them afterwards?

What the GOP is doing here is unnatural as it is seditionous. If that is a word.

MY workplace would have fired them and locked them out the first day.
