“It’s not a speech that will be remembered for its eloquence or its delivery.” I can’t fully agree. The memorable eloquence of Biden’s address, evident to a reader, was obscured to listeners by its memorably poor delivery. That delivery confirmed the necessity of the speaker’s withdrawal from his candidacy but did not obscure his sincerity, courage, and love for our country. For me, the address was both sad and inspiring.
