A final vote is tentatively expected on the $95 million foreign aid package for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan after 18 Republican senators broke ranks Saturday to support the advance of the bill despite border security measures no longer being a part of the package. Additional procedural obstacles could change the timeline for the final vote.
Since when is it “breaking ranks” for a Senator to vote in favor of a widely popular bipartisan measure that is actively supported by the minority leader of the Senator’s own party?
It’s all the other sniveling cowards and outright traitors, the ones who voted against, that “broke ranks” here.

I think you’re probably right that the delegates would throw their support to Harris, because it would be chaos otherwise. Also, a point made in that article was that Biden himself – assuming he bowed out voluntarily and wasn’t incapacitated – would have kingmaker power at the Dem convention, and would undoubtedly endorse Harris.
In fairness, Bobby was a thoroughly dreadful person until he wasn’t, and he took to the road after that happened. Junior did not fall too far from where the tree spent most of its life.
And for the record, I was making fun of the MAGA reaction to her. It is symptomatic of the prion disease which has infected the entire party. (H/T C. Pierce.)
More likely is that Biden stays on the ballot and wins but Harris carries more of the load while in office.
