As Red States Try To Seal Borders Against Abortion, Mailed Pills Zoom Around The US

Your up Amy!

Seeing that Paxton just filed a lawsuit to overturn Joe’s order…will Paxton’s next move be issuing warrants to search Post Offices for those naughty pills…even for mail on it’s way to other states?

These theocrats still think they can enforce their crazy religious crap on the rest of us. Never mind the First Amendment. We are SO much more inventive than they are, and we have science and intelligence on our side. They will never win!

I can see it now: on the Wyoming side of the Colorado border on I25 there is a huge fireworks emporium. On the other side there will soon be a mifepristone and misoprostol emporium.

Indiana really wants to prosecute that naughty doctor for helping that 10 year old girl…

And thus I propose to throw some economic realty right back at SCOTUS.
In 1973 an Associate Justice on the SC had a salary of $60,000, and the Chief Justice’s salary was $62,500. Today an Associate Justice’s salary is $274,200 and CJ is $286,700.
Got to make up the money needed for all these babies being born.

Would James like to weigh in on the 10/11 y/o becoming the legal guardian of an infant? And let’s make James the one who counsels the 10/11 y/o when they find out that actually having this child means that the odds are greater than their ability to have other child without complications is a risk.

The GOP is going to blow themselves up with their RW knee jerk reaction to women’s health issues. They are off the chart in trying to outdo each others crazy. Like everything with the Republicans it will work for a while, then blow up in their astonished faces.

I was more going down the line of thought of violent prison rape over multiple years as an appropriate outcome, see how he enjoys it since he’s fine with 10 y/o girls getting raped.

Marginally O/T:

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) sued the Biden administration over federal rules that require abortions be provided in medical emergencies in order to save the life of the mother, even in states with near-total bans.

Well does it really matter how he ends up at the funeral home?

These are exactly the types of over reactions that Republicans are jumping on and trying to ride to success. Could they make their disregard/hatred of a womans well being any more obvious?

Exactly. There is no version of reality in which this helps them.

The GOP is high on their own supply of hate and do not realize or don’t care where it will lead them.

That’s what I thought, but this part of the article confused me:

who would be opening it at the USPS? And even if it were opened… isn’t the Federal Gov’t on record as not being against shipping these pills? I admit I don’t understand what this is testing. And if anyone outside of the USPS is opening the package that would be mail tampering, right?

USPS only protects you to the mailbox, once you pick it up, the popo can shoot you for having murder pills in your hands.

This is true but it a convoluted way. They are so blinded by their delusions of righteousness and their associated need to vilify that they literally can’t see straight. They imagine themselves the heroes in a cosmic drama but in reality they’re just going around being thugs

Hmm…let me guess what SCROTUS says to that: ā€œStates’ Rights!ā€
