Um, I think I’d put my money on his unit to win that battle.

JosĂ© AndrĂ©s and World Central Kitchen are mobilizing to serve food and water to Kentucky voters as they wait in “the” line.

The question now is whether the polls will remain open until all the people in “the” line cast their vote, as has been done in the past in other places.

Of course, this will end up being yet another situation where courts will have to get intervene to ensure people can
 wait for it
 vote!

I prefer army privates who are not murderous satanic neo-nazi white nationalist traitors.

Yes, but if we set impossibly high standards it will hurt recruitment terribly

What about Commander-in-Chief???

Anybody who’s surprised at this needs to do some reading.

From my own perspective as a 20 year veteran, liberals are not well represented in the military. That doesn’t meant it’s strictly right-wing because the average age of military is the early 20s, so many hadn’t even paid enough attention to decide if they were right-wing or left-wing.

But one group who is well-represented are the wannabe Rambos. Every kid who grew up addicted to the fantasy pseudo-war movies dreams of joining the military, and a lot do. This isn’t to say that the majority are of this mindset, but the percentage is much higher than in the civilian world.

These are exactly the kind of people who get attracted to these militia-like movements. This days, there are presumably a lot more who are specifically infiltrating the military, whether to cause mayhem like this guy wanted to, or just to get free explosive training.

People like this (or borderline cases) were a dime a dozen when I retired (late '90s). I can only imagine it’s much worse now.

Incidentally, I imagine the exact same situation holds for many police forces. The difference is that the police often have much looser hiring standards, so people who can’t get in the army (or don’t think they’d have enough opportunities for sadism in the Army) end up as cops.

“Order of the Nine Angles”

A swastika has eight – so what’s the ninth?

“RapeWaffen Division”

This one I don’t need explained.

Of course, things aren’t always so simple
in (alleged) international occult neo-Nazi plots.

Now that I could have told them.

Right, and commanders-in-chief.

“occult neo-Nazi”

shades of wolfenstein

This is such a worrisome development. Kentucky cut out 95% of its polling places for tomorrow’s primary. “Half Kentucky’s Black voters live in one county,” he wrote. “It will have one polling place
 for 616,000 registered voters.”

If there is a hell, there is a special place in it for Republicans.

Nine angles are more demonic.

OK, but I personally haven’t felt that way since second-grade math class.
