As of 01/07/2022 at 11:30 EST, Cyber Ninjas Inc. remains an active Florida corporation and Douglas Logan is still listed as CEO and principal consultant. Note that it often takes several business days before the DoS website is update.
Following the Big Lie protocols of bailing out deadbeats, does this mean the RNC is gonna pay?
Sooo, what are the chances that the documents are released to the press? Is this an attempt to sidestep both producing them and the fine?
I’m reminded of the story of the guy who got pulled over on suspicion of driving while impaired, and the guy was being a bit belligerent with the cop, and then the guy’s wife, sitting in the passenger seat, tried to defuse the situation by explaining: “Officer, there’s just no use arguing with him when he’s had this much to drink.”
On this day after the first anniversary of the January 6 Coup it is helpful to meditate on the fact that Skanky Turdface’s initials “DT” are also the first letters of Domestic Terrorist.
Domestic Terrorist! As good conservative anti-vax prayer warriors would say, “Let that sink in”.
And increase the number of McDonald’s french fry chefs by (checks notes) …one.
Another Republican rats nest exposed. Everything the RW does is backed by unscrupulous people of every stripe out to make $$ off of stupidity. Acknowledge their MO and stop fearing them.
One of the very first things you learn in the Army: never, ever piss off the cook or an MP
“[Judge] Hannah said the $50,000 daily fine would begin accruing on Friday and warned that, if necessary, he will apply the fine to individuals, not just the Cyber Ninjas corporation.”
That Judge is one seriously pissed off jurist.
From the AP article cited below:
Hannah said the $50,000 daily fine would begin accruing on Friday and warned that, if necessary, he will apply the fine to individuals, not just the Cyber Ninjas corporation.
If only they were actually cyber ninjas instead of what they actually are, cyber idiots.
Fact check - unfortunately that is what Democratic operatives did in the municipal election in Paterson, New Jersey. They stole hundreds of absentee ballots from apartment lobbies in low-income areas and forged them. Stupidly, they mailed them in bulk from out-of-town collection boxes and got caught.
But this will certainly be Exhibit 1 in any GOP claim of election fraud next time.
Nope. It’s called “winding up.” All of Cyber Ninjas’ assets remain subject to the jurisdiction of the court, and this judge appears not to be in the mood to play games.
They will need to pay the fine, and they will create a crowdfunding campaign or solicit PACs for the money. And they will get lots of donations.
Just infuriating, really.
But the contractors get to keep those colored t-shirts, right?
I did not know there was an audit of their “audit.” Seems like a cause for recompense there as well.
Time to pierce the corporate veil, and hold the CEO (Logan) directly responsible. Garnishment of assets and jail time seem appropriate for the court to order.
Does anyone remember specifically what records the Arizona Republic was requesting?
That would be a great way for the individuals to pierce their own corporate veil by continuing to do business on behalf of the entity after it’s dissolved.
Cyber Ninjas’ utter failure to do a simple audit. Trump’s uncharacteristic cancellation of his Jan. 6th appearance. The fact that no Conservative group was coordinated or foolish enough to do something egregious on the anniversary of Jan. 6th, despite their repeated whining about doing so…all evidence that Democracy still wins out in this country.
