Be careful about who you give control over 5000 Special Ops soldiers. Newt Gingrich used to be Speaker of the House.

Gee, that Trump guy shoulda been impeached over inciting this insurrection and his failure to act.

Oh, wait.

“intended to” is the more accurate phrase.

And he said nothing about it afterwards? Like he’s scared to go against Trump. Sort of like his VP time.

I suspect he has; the problem for him is that he still has political ambitions, so he’s deluding himself that it wasn’t that big a deal.

Toss in this statement in the article.

Hours later, Pence reopened the Senate proceedings telling rioters they had not won

There has to be a long story behind it in hindsight. Despite Pence’s toadyism, it looks like he was left out of the loop. Which is easy to imagine with [Individual-1] and those he really hung with. Pence must have gotten that point during the event. It is unavoidable, a man one step away from the crown, played as the fool and jester.

And Karen Pence was there, too, right? I’ll bet she has some opinions about Trump and what happened that day.

Meanwhile the Trumpholes cannot understand why they’re being prosecuted.

And yet, after everything, he’s still a sycophant. I truly believe there’s more to the RepubliCONS than them just protecting other R’s. Some entity (Russia) has something on nearly every one of them and they fear what they (Russia) will do to them if they don’t follow their (Russia’s) orders.

It flipped with Newt & his Contract On America. When I moved to West Texas, the local Republicans were acting as if Clinton were the AntiChrist. They were SO happy when Bush the Lesser won - all was right with their world again. I witnessed a lot of sickening behavior and heard a lot of brain dead talk from people who considered themselves “good Christians”.

So, in other words, Trump committed SEDITION when he pushed his supporters to attack the capital, then committed TREASON when he joined with them as they “made war on the United States” by supporting their effort and doing nothing to block it.

Apparently, according to cnn.com, trump had nasty words for Mitch McConnell and and for Pence who would not certify the election for poor donnie. He repeated his worn out election lies to the party faithful and rich donors. I would’ve thought these folk by now would be wise to his bullshit but apparently not.

What this crap-ola about Pence having a ONE MINUTE phone call with ACTING SecDef Miller? Did he say “Oh, Mr. VP, I have been told not to talk to you” and HANG UP or something?

The ONE person I respected in the Trump cabinet. Remember, he was the only one who did not spray encomia onto Trump (such an HONOR, SIR; the most wonderful thing in my WHOLE LIFE, MR PRESIDENT; etc etc) and I would’ve trusted him to see things were done right on January 6. Otherwise, there is not ONE person in that Administration I respect/admire/would step aside for. (And if you want to say Dr. Fauci, HE was not part of the Admin because Trump could not fire him, even though he kept saying he was thinking about it. LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE.)

Is this a photoshop or did he ‘actually’ dress in ass-less chaps?

If he thinks Trump will ‘ever’ support him running for President he is truly too delusional to be elected to ANYTHING.
