Byron Williams, the anti-government man who is accused of engaging in a shootout with police on an Oakland, California highway, pleaded not guilty yesterday to charges of attempted murder and unlawful possession of controlled ammunition, among other things.Williams is accused of engaging in a gunbattle with police officers on I-580 while allegedly on his way to targeting the ACLU and the Tides Foundation.
