Oh, I see he lives in Idaho now. I was puzzled because the whole original Bundy brouhaha was in Nevada or Arizona or somewhere roundabout. He seems to be a peripatetic butthead and troublemaker, certainly, and somewhere in the southern hemisphere of the I.Q. statistics.
He does tend to push his luck.

As an attorney, I have to say it’s always a special sort of amusement for me watching and reading the complete batshit the “sovereign citizen” types continue to generate in terms of delusional “legal analysis”. Usually, with laypeople, you get a lot of “this sounds right to me so I think it must be the law”, and even when it’s wrong, there’s still a sort of logic and folksy wisdom to it that makes it understandable how they arrived at it. The “sovereign citizen” brain damage though…that shit is straight out of a mental institution where ayahuasca is the only drug administered.

I used to see a lot of the sovereign citizen crap in court filings when we did the miscellaneous civil calendar. It was completely incoherent gobbledygook.

I’d say this time, ignoring them and rolling our eyes really is the best response. Just like you let the 2 year old finish his tanty and tucker himself out rather than feeding it by getting involved.
