Yes. It “suggests” a lack of empathy. In the same way that his enormous girth, numerous pictures of him holding Big Macs, dozens of contemporaneous accounts of his eating habits, and his own recorded statements on his diet suggest that he likes McDonalds.

Cuck Kushner was taking victory laps on Fox News to celebrate how Skanky Turdface, nasty half-wife Ivanka and he had done such a fantastic job in causing the deaths of 60,000 American lives, how the virus was chinese and had been spread by the World Health Organization and that Bill Gates money prevented a miracle on Easter Sunday.
While Americans were dying in the pandemic, Skanky Turdface, always ready to be Putin’s bitch, was busy rigging oil prices for Putin and compelled Mo Bone Saw (PBUH), the halal butcher of the holy hand of terrorists, to cut oil production. Wow, this is the free market, with the American President whoring with authoritarian cartels. As a result of the rigging of oil prices by Skanky, American shale is going bankrupt.

We’ve just passed 60,000. There are about 1,000,000 reported cases. A generous assumption would be10X the reported cases would = actual cases. So, our population is about 330,000,000 divided by 10,000,000 = a factor = 33. This X 0.7 to reach “herd immunity” gives a total factor = 23.
It would seem that 60,000 X 33 may be a potential death toll. This would be 1,380,000. Probably less than this as the numbers would drop as we approach “herd immunity”

the “best by” date was never a part of the discussion, allowing for moving the goal posts, temporarily
by latching on the 60,000 number he has eliminated moving of the goal posts
now a qualifier will be added, a best by date perhaps:
" by April 7th we had way fewer deaths than 60,000, the fewest deaths for that date than any other country, they are fake deaths meant to make me look bad, libs intentionally are dying to make the numbers look higher…"

Don’t forget when Trump first called out these numbers, 100,000 to 240,000 deaths, no one could affirm the source of these numbers.
Go to the tape! Reporters asked, and even Fauci and Birx where unable to explain where the numbers came from.
At that point it became clear that this was purely a political move to be able to claim success when that number came in lower - even if it comes in ten deaths lower.
Pure heartless politics.

Close, but what the Trumpers are actually claiming is that 1000s of deaths are being wrongly classified as a Covid death in order to pump up the death count to hurt Trump. They’re claiming governors like Cuomo are classifying heart attacks and strokes as Covid deaths in order to get more federal funding.

People who listen to Trump and Fox News think the Covid crisis is nearly over. We are on our way to going back to normal. I hope they are right, but I haven’t seen anything to lead me to believe we won’t be back in the middle of the crisis 10 days after the states lift their stay at home orders. Just because the President says happy days are here again doesn’t make it so.

This model predicts that the death toll in the U.S. from Covid-19 will be 70,000 by May 15 -99% chance. In addition there is a 90% chance deaths will be 80,000 by May 15. These are human beings, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, elderly, and young. In most cases they die without a family member near. Funerals and memorial services are delayed due to social distancing. This was preventable -all of it.

You have to be a special kind of stupid to predict the unpredictable. If nothing else this shows us how disconnected from reality Trump is. He thinks he can create it with a tweet or a quip.
EVERYONE knew that 60K was no where near where COVID was stopping. Trump knew that too but it was what he felt made him look good at the time so he said it. No concerns about the future proving him wrong. Just an impulsive “right now” remark. Dangerous.

I’ve thought the same thing but never stated out loud, thinking… doctors wouldn’t falsify numbers, wouldn’t publicly state this, to make anyone especially this POS look “better”. It literally sickens me.
