Alleged Capitol rioter John Lolos may have gotten away with it — if only he hadn’t been kicked off of his flight out of D.C. for yelling “Trump 2020!” then caught the eye of a police officer who recognized him from Instagram.
Another one who’s full of stupid.

Remember that Lolos was only able to enter the Capitol illegally because other rioters bludgeoned a police officer to death with a fire extinguisher.
Were some pesky kids involved in cracking this case ? It seems he TOTALLY should have gotten away with it if it wasnt for those pesky kids.

I agree but the Merrick Garland DOJ will ultimately decide how these cases are prosecuted. I trust they will do the right thing.
“Lolos was a passenger and was disturbing other passengers on the airplane by continuously yelling ‘Trump 2020!’ Due to the continuing disturbance, the flight crew decided to turn the airplane around and go back to the gate to escort Lolos off of the flight,” the affidavit alleged.
An airport police officer witnessed the scene but didn’t arrest Lolos. Instead, Delta simply booked him on another flight…
Sorry, but this alone should’ve resulted in his immediate arrest.

This is why it sets my teeth on edge when I’m told that at least you have to admire somebody’s “passion.” All kinds of perfectly awful people are full of “passion,” and there’s nothing inherently good about it.

I think being obnoxiously stupid is the tie that binds Trump supporters together. It’s one of Trump’s most salient qualities.
And I’m undecided if the “perfect crime” is killing 400k Americans (and counting) with no consequences other than losing reelection or fomenting an insurrection against the duly elected American government, and being allowed to sit in Florida as if nothing happened.
