I can’t find it now, but some time ago, maybe during the Obama administration or even before, Chris quite publicly criticized Mike’s defense of the media as not being liberal in its inclinations; Chris said something to the effect that his father had lost his way and may even have been suffering from dementia or something like that. I took that to indicate that this particular apple had fallen rather farther from the tree than is usual and that on the whole he was comfortable over there at FOX.

You mean the one where I accept that gay sex practices are used colloquially to mean immoral behavior? The metaphor is precisely what I take offense to because it’s the adult version of calling something you don’t like “gay”.
I only call it out because I know you aren’t a troll and that kind of colloquialism can get lodged in our own personal vernacular without malice. I’m maybe hyper-aware of the affect of language, like most people who are part of the alphabet mafia, especially given the right’s targeting of lgbt kids and clear disdain for Obergefell.
