A Top Government Scientist Sends A Sharp Warning About ‘Politicized’ COVID-19 Work

Pence does not know this. Where are the tests, where are the resources for contact tracing? More will die.

covid-19 kills by turning the body’s immune system against the lungs, and also sometimes damages the heart and kidneys, so you could make a superficial argument for hydroxychloroquine there. But…hydroxychloroquine is an antibacterial agent, not anti-viral, and no rigorous study has shown a positive covid-19 effect from chloroquine (CLQ) or its variants. Instead, with or without CLQ there is wide variance in patient outcomes, so it is easy to do a bunch of slapped together retroactive “studies” and jump on the ones where the variance gives the result you’re looking for.

The happy talk must go on. Don’t stop smiling. No one in the WH wants to be dealing with frowny face Don. Bad things happen to GOP poll numbers…

We’ll know soon enough whose version to accept. I know where I’m placing my bet.

They don’t call “Politico” “Tiger Beat on the Potomac” for nothing.

why would small businesses in SD even qualify for aid, given that their governor is saying its okay for them to stay open?

I thought Pizza was connected to the Clinton mob.

Or was that just a ruse to tie up the phrase Pizzagate in anticipation of future Trump corruption?

The American public never did have good taste in movies.

If Trump wins re-erection, it will turn into a very frightening horror movie. Don’t kid yourselves.

A little on the nose there. I’d have gone with Joe Veal.

Apparently, they’re for a different purpose. It sounds like technologies designed to make a buck.

What’s the deal with NYC supposedly having a 21% infection rate? That doesn’t seem right. I think it’s quite a bit lower. Apparently they tested 3000 people over 18 outside stores, which is not representative given that minors are a large part of the population and older people as well as many others are mostly staying at home. I can’t imagine that they properly weighted this poll.

My guess is it’s closer to 10% or all NYC residents of any age. There are obviously areas with much higher rates than others, too. But 21% sounds like a number that, if it’s true, might mean that we’ve crossed a critical mass number that would make far higher infection rates more likely soon.

And all of these mooks have used the same PR firm Panem & Circenses.
