Kegseth and the guy beside should have shared what ever they were drinking. They are the only ones having a good time.
Reminds me of those helicopter parents who ensconce themselves into every aspect of their kids lives. Even tagging along with them to their college and job interviews. There was a piece addressing this phenomenon over the weekend in the Work life column in the NYT business section. “Can I bring my family to my job interview?” The answer was pretty much nope, until it was part of the position or relocation related. This, along with the excesses of social media explain why there’s a lot of angst among the younger generations. The untethered “free range” parenting” movement which many parents have been involved in seems to be a healthy response to this. Plus it’s what most of us grew up with. “Go play outside!” “And leave your parents alone!”
Good guys with guns, obviously. Tragic for Ah Loo’s family and friends, but letting anyone wander around with long guns is always a recipe for disaster in a crowd.
I went to an anti gun violence protest down in Austin in Trump 1 and there were a number of dickhead counter protestors wandering around with military weapons, including AK74s which I thought was a bit in American. Favorite moment was a group of high school girls getting into it (verbally) with a bunch of Gravy Seals, anyone single of which outweighed the whole group of young women. Of course Meal Team 6 had their emotional support assault rifles with them, as well as at least two pistols.
I think that pic is from Trump’s first inauguration, or thereabouts. I don’t know why it was posted here since it’s long since irrelevant.
They’re void for lack of consideration, among other reason.
It is confusing, even in the telling of what happened. Something’s not right here.
Memories of Mom taking me to my draft board physical. Mom kept saying “Oh just double check him and he’s gonna be 4F anyway”…which I was because of a heart murmur. As I left in shame Mom kept saying “well that was a waste of taxpayer money”…oh I felt so humiliated…
That’s the whole enchilada as far as I’m concerned.
I was ready someone’s reporting on trying to get into DonOLD’s sad parade. They planned to have several entrances, but only had one open close to the time of the start of the parade. People had to walk a mile or more to get to the one entrance.
We keep talking about how much money DonOLD wastes on all these pet projects he wants, I hope that in the end we can send him, or his estate, a bill for the cost of having him be POTUS a second time.
I’m disturbed by this news, and I am faced with two possibilities.
- He is the Messiah, but it/he didn’t need to wait three days.(
)
- Like Voldemort, you have to kill all the horcruxes.
toothless. They have no idea what this is. Frogs boiling in water.
To be fair, this is anecdotal, but it does indicate that the donor class of Dems are well off enough not to be concerned about the effects of a totalitarian state on them, personally.
Are they allowed to prescribe anything but hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin and intravenous bleach?
Thank you TPM for linking Doug Landry’s excellent break down. So funny and informative.
Anyone else notice on the big double screens that the ‘250’ over the flag was in comic sans - glassed? comic sans?!!!
The 24/7 Republican Bullshit Machine has been in operation for almost 45 years and there is no equivalent to it from the left. It has succeeded in brainwashing millions of marks that they will get pie in the sky when they die as long as they follow their Corporate Masters and vote Republican every time.
It took a while, but eventually it became clear that watching the Saturday morning cartoon shows and getting dropped off for Suday school were how the parents got some time to themselves.
Clearly photoshopped with Bernie in the picture. But TSF is going to be even more unhinged as he didn’t get the Red Square spectacle he wanted. It felt like the Army wasn’t even trying.
Still waiting to see who King Turd is going to fire over that fiasco. It’s coming…
People might’ve extrapolated from the unavailability of busses to take rally goers back from some of Donnie’s events that getting in wasn’t going to be set up for their convenience.
Redd said investigators believe Ah Loo was killed by a man who was apparently part of the demonstration’s “peacekeeping team.” He hit Ah Loo as he fired three shots at Gamboa, who Redd said was running into the crowd of protesters just before 8 p.m. with a rifle drawn.
On the Weekender thread I responded to someone who said if they were attending a No Kings protest they would go armed, by saying that crowd situations like that are likely to result in bystanders being hit by stray fire from civilians who aren’t trained for that situation.
That comment was based on how poorly I’ve seen gun handling and shooting by non-professional gun owners at firing ranges. Well, it looks like this is exactly what happened in Salt Lake City. A civilian gun enthusiast acting as “peacekeeper” fires at a supposed perp in a crowd, misses and kills an innocent bystander instead.
Cops can miss and hit innocent bystanders too, but they’re better trained and might have withheld fire in a crowded situation like that.
