Last week my agency said that replying to the Musk e-mail was “encouraged but not required.” This time they said all employees “are expected to respond on a weekly basis by the deadline.”
I relied on the Shadow President’s instructions to “type some words and press send.” So I guess I can keep my job for another week LOL.

We keep talking about Trump trying to impose authoritarian government on America. To an extent that is true, but what is really going on is Musk and team are trying to dismantle and privatize all government departments except the military. They truly believe that if they privatize government to the maximum extent possible America will be a better place.
To them the only thing that done better by government than private industry is war fighting and they aren’t convinced about that. The position is insane. Government has to do some things but don’t tell Musk and his DOGE boys. This isn’t the world of Fascism, this is the world of Libertarianism run wild.
