More Proof The White House Runs DOJ One day after it asked the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals to allow it to voluntarily withdraw its appeal of its losses in the law firm executive order cases, the Trump DOJ reversed course in humiliating fashion. In an extraordinary glimpse into who really runs the Justice Department,…

I found/find the way Trump pronounces “dead” to be deeply disturbing. Certainly many others have commented on his cruelty and apparent bloodlust, but this seems to encapsulate it in a word. He truly is “a sick fuck”. h/t to Joe Biden.

We need to pass a House rule or law that requires them to work a certain number of days to get paid. Since Mike Johnson took over these people hardly ever work. When they finally come back after weeks off they work 2 days and he sends them home for 2…

I dunno, Ron. I think if you look around you may find that what’s really happened is that the Republican party has joined their Orange Leader and secretly abolished the legislative branch. Probably if we all check our copies of the Constitution now, we’ll find that Article 1 has been completely redacted. Just a paragraph remaining that says they do get paid – as long as they do nothing.

Mike Johnson: “It’s a defensive operation”.

Johnson’s Putin creep is moving along. We are not quite to “special military operation”, the official Kremlin term for the Ukraine war, but getting there. After four years, the Kremlin still uses the term and still can’t explain its objectives beyond empire-building. I hope that four years from now the US does not have a government that still can’t explain the Iran war. Even Trump’s shame about sexually molesting young teens or money laundering give more clarity than “defensive operation.”

The CIA is working to arm Kurdish forces in Iraq with the aim of fomenting a popular uprising in Iran, CNN reports.

I’m sure this will work out well. After all, the more things change, the more things remain the same.

Near the end of his administration in Jan. 1961, Eisenhower expressed anger at the CIA’s failures to reform and its mismanagement under Director Allen Dulles, stating that for his successor, “I have suffered an eight-year defeat on this… I’ll leave you a legacy of ashes”.

Given the challenges that President Trump is facing finding an Iranian citizen who is alive and willing to lead the new Iranian government, might it be better to make Iran a US state immediately?

President Trump should appoint a country like Pakistan or Argentina, which received IMF loans and has paid memberships in his Board of Peace, CryptoSchemes, and Mar-a-Lardo, to provide ground forces and security.

Jared Kushner, who secured everlasting Middle East peace, and is a potential Gaza real estate investor and a seasoned diplomat, would be an excellent choice as the first Governor of the Great State of New Iran. The Saudi king loves Governor Kushner and has given him $1 billion.

I hope so too, but I fear that even under the best of circumstances, we’ll have a “We need to heal, put all this behind us and move on” kind of government. I am willing to be surprised, however.

CIA did nothing to stop it’s OWN COUNTRY from being taken over by our traditional enemy. I don’t know if there is any competence left for it to abuse and misuse anymore.

I’m sure we’re not supposed to be surprised by this are we? I’m not sure what the “work hard” requirement is all about, sure the new hires will be worked to death1 but looking at folks like Kash and Krusty I’m not sure I detect “hard work” at play there. Probably another Inigo Montoya moment.

1 Kind of like chasing a will o’ the wisp.
