None of Dump’s emergencies have been actual emergencies. It needs to be stopped.

Doesn’t really need to be. He just needs to be able to manufacture some nebulous ‘national emergency created by attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces.’
Which is why they’ve been trotting out shit from the 1980s, among other things. The fact that it’s not a real emergency’s not really important for what he’s doing.

Trump reveals US weapons supplies are like unlimited bread at Olive Garden, and no pushback about how ridiculous this sounds. Putin made a horrible choice about Ukraine, but still not much pushback after 4 years. Trump is clearly off his rocker, and we are hearing that he’s waiting to reveal his overall plan. The Peter Principle was about how damaged organizations allow incompetence to rise and enter the board room. We now see it has happened to two nuclear superpowers.

If Trump had been a Democrat, the media would have been howling for his impeachment and removal from office for over a year now. Like what they did with Joe Biden. Sorry; I just had to add that. With me, it’s like the mandatory “but the Democrats” in every mainstream “news” story.

Yup. I had the same horrible thought this morning.
Who believes it’s IMPOSSIBLE that—if he learned about it in advance—Russian Agent Orange would allow/permit Iranian actors to conduct a mass attack on NYC, LA, or some other largely blue city?
Who thinks it’s IMPOSSIBLE that he’d give them a nuke or three to sail up the Hudson, into San Francisco Bay, or even into the Houston Ship Channel?
I know these thoughts are crazy, but I’ve come to decide that the only thing he WON’T do, is what they can’t think of.
The only thought I have about trying to prevent it, is that our blue states and cities somehow need to reach across and outside their silos, share intelligence with and among each other, and do their best to defend against such threats.
Again, I can hardly believe that’s where I find myself, but who can doubt tRump and his enablers want us dead? Who can talk me off this ledge?
