Totally agree with you. If we had the same shallow media today when FDR was in office, he would’ve never lasted a full term due to the physical effects of his polio on his body. We also would’ve been a lot worse off and also less emboldened a country to fight in WW2 as a result. The fact is, he brought the country together in ways we can only dream of today. Biden, for all his shortcomings, was a kind and decent person that tried to do the same, even if he didn’t succeed as well as we’d would have liked at times.

I read somewhere that the other problem Canada would have in switching from the F-35, besides U.S. parts integration with other options, is the price. It would cost something like twice the amount per airframe for the Rafale or Gripen, because so many F-35s are produced per year for domestic use and foreign sales. Volume production lowers the cost. Canada would have to settle on a smaller number of fighters.

Essentially it sounds like he wants to bring back his childhood where all those things were operational. Fucker just realized he’s nothing but an old fart looking at the end of his life with the whole world saying “fuck you” to him. That’s only real mark he’ll make on the world when he leaves.
