24-Year-Old NC GOP Primary Winner Explains Blowout Victory Against Trump-Endorsed Rival

I bet the main reason he won, is republican voters saw a male name next to the female and voted for the male, most likely had no idea who he is.

His birthday is August 1, so if he wins he will be eligible to serve. He has until the day before he is sworn in to attain the age of 25. The Constitution says nothing about the age to run for office only about the age for serving in office.

So he is home-schooled, didn’t go to college… never had a job other than “motivational speaker / real estate investor and CEO (a company btw which has been incorporated for less than a year)” which translates to rich parents. The “company” that he is CEO of that he formed himself, and is the only officer in it, and its registered to a family house that was bought a couple of years ago. And uses a wheel chair? because he is a rich douche who went down to Florida for spring break and got into a car accident.

I mean for f*#k sakes, talk about resume padding. Let me go register a company and call myself a CEO…

It is probably safe red but there is a better chance to flip it with the recent redraw. I am surprised Trump’s candidate did not win and I really can’t guess whether it will make a difference in November.

I think you are right about that, particularly for the voters in what we lovingly call “Banjoland.”

I’m not sure that anyone could tell whether someone named Madison was male or female without a photo.

Oh and apparently is also three million in debt due to the accident that made him use a wheel chair, so safe to say the 500,000 grand house his “company” is registered to is not his. And how much real estate business does he do with 3 million in debt and being the only person in his company?

So he was at fault in the accident?

Story says he was a passenger and the driver fell asleep and ran into a barrier, he had his legs up which caused the damage.

The so called constitutional conservative says we need to defeat the push for socialism among his generation and opposes “Socialist medicine” yet when he was injured he was covered by either his parents plan due to the ACA expansion for kids up to age 26 or his employer who received a tax credit.
Please don’t tell me that he also opposes the ADA which was signed by George H.W. Bush 30 years ago and has enabled millions to become independent and part of America society, but hey society, well that sounds like.,…

Here’s a profile of the Democratic candidate from Ballotpedia:

Morris Davis was born in Shelby, North Carolina. Davis served in the United States Air Force from 1983 to 2008 and reached the rank of colonel. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University in 1980. He earned a J.D. from the North Carolina Central University School of Law in 1983. He earned masters’ degrees in military law from George Washington University and the United States Army JAG School in 1992. His career experience includes working as a chief prosecutor, an administrative law judge, a law professor, a national security expert, and as a network television commentator with ABC, CNN, NBC, Fox, MSNBC, and National Public Radio.[1]

It’s quite a stellar resume. Since the court ordered redistricting includes more of Asheville he stands a good chance at taking the seat.

This is the first time we have had a strong Democratic candidate running in this district. As it was originally drawn, Meadows had a lock on it and no one wanted to waste their time running for it. That has changed with the redraw and I think Davis has an outside chance to win it, depending on turnout. I hope the MAGAT’s are depressed and stay home in November.

Edit

The more I think about it I believe this was the best possible result. This smug brat won’t look good compared to Mo. Mo served honorably and well in the military and doesn’t feel the need to pose with high-powered rifles. I hope they have a televised debate.

I remember seeing Mo on television in the mid oughts discussing the military justice system. I’m glad he decided to run for office.

Why waste fuel cooking something no one would want to eat? I say heave 'em in the pit and wave on the dozer.
