He’s cut short his FL vacation.

As Pence stands at the podium before marquee names in conservative politics Friday, pro-Trump, far-right activists are making their way to Washington, D.C., for a rally organized and supported by some of the very right-wing leaders likely sitting in that room.

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and his InfoWars network are leading a caravan of Trump supporters to D.C., Stewart Rhodes of the Oath Keepers militia has promised to station his armed men outside of the District borders should Trump call on them, and the Proud Boys hate group has encouraged its members to to the nation’s capital, with leader Enrique Tarrio declaring Trump’s “Standby order has been rescinded.” They, along with other conspiracy theorists, far-right groups and other Trump loyalists, have all promised to go to the Saturday event that goes by three names: Million MAGA March, March for Trump, and Stop the Steal—to push a false narrative that voter fraud cost Trump the election. The event has been promoted by Fox News personalities Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham

It will only take two healthy Secret Service agents to drag the loser out come inauguration day.

Their job is to protect the President from harm from others even at the cost of their own lives.

They are not supposed to be risking their lives protecting themselves from the President.

They can always request aid from the US Marshall’s office if there’s a manpower shortage.
And, we know the administration put aside ‘their PPE,’ so it should be available for use.

Kicking, whining, tweeting and of course, screaming in all caps before they haul him out. Or it could just be whoever is leftover still on the White House staff that miraculously didn’t manage to contract the virus.

I certainly hope that the team that protects the Biden crowd is totally separate from those that are assigned to any Trump/Trump adjacent persons. I applaud Biden for wearing both an N95 and a cloth mask. I’m surprised that it took so long for the press to notice.

I think of the agents last month who had to get in that sealed vehicle with Trump so he could leave his hospital room to go on a vanity lap. Did they stay healthy after being put at such hellish risk? For nothing?

You need to work a train wreck into that to really capture the situation.

I hope Biden goes easy on the Secret Service and lets those who quarantined recover.

The only “positive” is that Trump isn’t doing shit besides sitting in the White House and eating fast food, so that should minimize future exposure.
