Hopefully, with zip ties and live loads.
I’m glad they’re getting prepared like this, and saddened that it’s necessary.
It will be tame tomorrow. I would guarantee the fencing will be at the Capitol Building the next time the electoral votes are tallied in Congress (January 2025). The box of electoral votes should be guarded more than they did with some interns on 1-6-21.

Um, so if everything goes to hell real fast, peaceful to shitstorm in 5 minutes, the Guard have to fight their way THROUGH the crowd to get on the Capitol grounds and set up positions.

I understand the concern for public safety and no more cops being hurt, but I’m not crazy about the optics of a political protest looking like it’s being held in a Police State.
There are four physical copies of each state’s electoral votes. Losing that box means nothing.
