In response to several comments herein, let me make it clear. Rupert Murdoch is not a “demented” “asshole.”
He is a very, very clever CRIMINAL, who has almost single-handedly (of course, with the assistance of Ronald Reagan and the Republican Party’s abolition of the Fairness Doctrine and deregulation of the broadcast media) corrupted the politics, civic discourse, social compact, and even the concept of Truth in this country. In a word, he is the most dangerous human being, the most evil human being, and the most destructive human being alive in this country today.
Why nobody investigates HIM is a question I cannot fathom.
