The bet is that Republicans are going to take your tax dollars, give it to your boss, who will turn around and give it back to you.

And not a manufacturer in China.

Plus, we’ll wage a war, make insurance more expensive, ignore the infrastructure, balloon the debt… Republicans are gleeful because this is what they believe voters want based on gerrymandered districts.

What a mess.

Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN), the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has repeatedly warned that the nation’s growing debt is the most serious threat to national security.
“I realize this is a bet on our country’s enterprising spirit, and that is a bet I am willing to make,” Corker said.

So, Bob…did you get that automatic roll-back trigger put in the bill like you demanded so the debt wouldn’t get out of control? No? So, you are playing with national security on a bet.
And Sen. Collins…when’s the vote on those 2 bills to shore-up the Affordable Care Act that you demanded? Haven’t been scheduled? Broken promises, but still voting yes on tax bill.
And Sen. Flake…Dreamers all taken care of now? No, really?

Fuck 'em all.

McConnell, Flake, Collins, Corker, Rubio, McCain… proven sycophants. Regular order my ass. Deficits only matter when a Democrat is in the oval. Waiting for an election to deal with seating a senator, or a supreme court judge only matter when a Democrat is in the oval.

Tools all of them

As far as I can see the only job created involves Roy Moore taking on the Santa Claus gig at his local mall. Those who refuse to scoop up their dog’s poop are destined to step in it.

Here’s something else that’s happening: the Democratic takeover of Congress in 2018. And the repeal of the tax bill in 2020, when Ds will control everything. And Medicare for all, paid for by the GOP’s billionaire donors.

Assuming we have a functioning democracy.

Look at that smile, he’s grinning from ear to ear his job is done he can cut and run now. He has just planted more seeds of fascism to grow from. In Ryan’s perfect world it should all be about the Republicans you said so himself. The new world order republic and fascist united states of America. You dirty dog I hate you.

What you have bought (to the GOP):

The opportunity to dodge, duck and weave while avoiding constituents and preparing for electoral defeat when you start trying to raise the age for Social Security, and cut medicare - because of this corporate/wealthy-taxfare.

OT: But this is unbelievable. So Orwellian it’s almost laughable. The CDC got a list of “forbidden words” - one being “evidence-based.” Ah, yes, nothing like small government—right, guys?

The bill embodies a long-standing Republican philosophy that a substantial tax break for businesses will trigger economic growth and job creation for Americans in a trickle-down economy.

Philosophy: the study of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence, especially when considered as an academic discipline.

Republican philosophy: fantasy, delusion, pipe dream, many times failed idea, lie.

George Carlin did it first and did it better.

I simply cannot understand how they made everything better and still can fit under the 1.5 trillion deficit limit.

There’s a dying mill town near me that had a long problem with punk kids setting its buildings on fire. I imagine those kids felt the same sort of glee these punks do. The only real difference is the actual arsonists understood that people don’t like arsonists and try to make them stop if they can. SMH

Save all of these headlines for when the economy starts heading south… inflation, added fees, less services, cuts to Medicare and Medicaid, cuts to the Farm bill. The sugar high begins now, just like the Bush economic plan, and will send us reeling.

Rubio’s act was all schtick. Like a guy that doesn’t object to killing by 1000 cuts just to 1 of the cuts. Fix that for him and you can give the victim the other 999 cuts. It will probably work in its intended way…political cover.

I think Reagan said his cuts were historic too. Then Bush said…“read my lips”. Followed by 13 successive tax hikes to fix the historic mess.
