I disenfranchise the African American vote. #ImARepublican

Nope, sorry, trying to portray “Republicans” as the very people demonized and insulted by Republican politicians and right wing media only shows the desperate, and hypocritical, measures Republicans are willing to take.

“It’s become socially acceptable to talk about Republicans in the most evil terms possible and that doesn’t seem right. We wanted to do this to really remind people that Republicans are friends, neighbors and do things that maybe you wouldn’t expect them to do.”

Godwin help me. Give me the strength not to find and replace the word “Republican” with, well, you know…

They read the NYT. They drive Priuses. They vote in people who despise all these things and want to do away with them.

Vote Republican!

When you need to remind people that your party’s members “have feelings” or “are people, too” you definitely aren’t winning.

What I take away from this is that the GOP has finally realized that the things they’ve been labeling as unAmerican for years are actually the majority.

Republicans have been demonizing people with tatoos and beards, people who read the NY Times in public, people who drive hybrids, and etc. as traitorous, America-hating socialist atheistic third-columnists bent on tearing down the United States of America.

And now that they realize that the folks who do these things constitute the majority they’re crying, “Why don’t you like us?”

Here’s hoping that they realize soon that the majority of Americans also support a woman’s right to choose, marriage equality, marijuana decriminalization, ending mandatory sentencing, shrinking the military, environmental protections, fighting global warming, unemployment insurance, disaster relief, universal health care and all the other stuff the GOP has fought for years.

He was our President, too, as much as he sucked.

If people have to be reminded that “Republicans are people, too,” they definitely have a big problem. Their biggest hurdle is that they keep doing and saying horrible things - about women, minorities, the poor, education, health care, etc. - that keep them from climbing out of that very big hole they have dug for themselves. In fact, they keep digging!

I support polices that I know will adversely affect others who are different from me. I have some longstanding, deep-seated emotional pain that I am unable to deal with as an adult, so I lash out by voting for candidates who demonize others. #ImARepublican

Our leaders who are on paid vacation again, say poor people don’t want to work.

Disenfranchising minority voters is OK by me! After all, they’re not white like I am. #ImARepublican

Hi Publishermike. Is this something new - moderating at TPM. Haven’t seen you here before. I have seen you at Political Wire.
So what can we kicked out of here for saying.

These people are a bunch of RINOs, no god fearing, gun toting Republican would be caught deal reading the NY times and driving a Prius. Seriously we need to rid the party of these people. …and what was with those two men cooking - this is what is wrong with the party - we only need pure bloods in the the party.
