McConnell is probably right. Kavanaugh is going to sit on that Court. He’s going to be confirmed. If he’s seated in October there’s time enough for him to show who he really is before the elections. he’s going to lie through his teeth during the conformation but show his ass soon after he takes a seat on the Court. That is all the Democrats have working for them. Just get it over. And don’t take Mitch’s bait. He’s mouthing the obstruction ting just to goad the Democrats. Leave it alone. It’s bullshit so treat it as such.
Let this puke take his seat. Spend energy on more doable things…like the long shot at a House majority. get that and Trump is done.

I feel like this nomination is in more trouble than we realize. McConnell was supposed to get this thing done in August. Now he appears to be conceding that he will have to push it until October? Just a little push more and we get it past the midterms and get people to vote to protect Roe v Wade, Obamacare and a host of other things.

The notion is that Judiciary hearings in the news right before the election will spook vulnerable Red State Dem senators because that topic will drive health care, tariff job losses, etc. off the radar.
