I think Kasich (who happens to be as anti-trump as you will find them in the GOP) already has responded to that: “He is our President,OK?”. So no, they will not demand Trumps resignation and they will oppose impeachment. The reason is simple if Trump goes down so will the GOP, and as you can imagine, they don’t like the latter part.

Trump is our president NOT OK. It is your job to do something about that, and your failure to do so is absolutely contemptible. You are contemptible. The entire GOP Congressional delegation is contemptible. And the Democrats are not a lot better. They should be screaming at the tops of their lungs about Trump’s outrageous, unAmerican verbiage, but their response has been muted. They make themselves complicit with their silence. What part of “opposition” do they not understand?
