I’m sure they are, but what I’ve seen are complaints that the Republican plan is “MEANer” and that it’s been secret and it shouldn’t be.
I can’t stand Alan Grayson, but his slogan of “don’t get sick, and if you do, die quickly” is short, powerful, true and to the point. It was the Republican Mantra turned against them. It seems painfully clear to me that the Republican Mantra has been very successful. That Mantra is what got the dipshit we have now in office.
Look, I’m not one of those “burn the house down” persons. It just seems to me that short, tweet-length messages are incredibly powerful. I haven’t seen many Democrats using that strategy. Again, maybe I am missing something.
Arizona cut Medicaid funding and froze enrollment back in 2011. Pretty much what the GOP Senate plan proposes. 150,000 people lost their coverage in just two years.
In 2013 Arizona accepted Medicaid expansion. Then-Guv. Brewer ® said, “It saved lives, it insured more people, it brought money into the state, it kept rural hospitals from being closed down."
Clinton can point to Arizona as proof. The ACA saved lives and the GOP wants to un-save them.

I honestly haven’t seen any stories about Democrats saying anything other than this bill will result in Americans dying, in one way or another, but by god, there can never be too many and it can’t be said too often.
