Discussion: GOP Senator Reveals GOP's Biggest Fear If Obamacare Goes Down In Court

In other words, they’re terrified that their Death Panel scare BS is going to come back and bite them in a very real way.

Who’s the Death Panel now?

Johnson should also be scared of the Teabaggers’ Politics of Resentment getting turned against him and all GOPers

VERY scared.

I’m shocked. Every indication has been that Sen Johnson is as dumb as a post. But I love his idea here and think the Dems should specifically thank him for it, if the SCOTUS does the stupid move he’s suggesting. Sounds like a great idea.

Those sad sack stories of who’s dying from what and why they can’t get coverage are such a buzzkill.

If the Supremes nullify the ACA, the GOP are gonna feel like the dog that finally caught the car.

Johnson smells defeat in his re-election next year.

A deluge of attacks on Republicans for supposedly having caused this…

Sen. Sasse, there’s no “supposedly” about it.

Please proceed, Chief Justice Roberts.

Well Senator, your party could have fixed it, but you want the voters to suffer so they will vote repub. Repubs don’t give a damn about anyone but the rich and keeping power. They use old ignorant white voters with their lies to keep them voting repub. Any non-rich voter who votes repub is just a duped fool.

So, just like if they win an election, they have no idea what to do next?

Repubs want the voters to suffer so they will blame the Dems and vote repub. Only ignorant duped fools would fall for that.

“What will happen next is predictable: A deluge of attacks on Republicans for supposedly having caused this,” Sasse wrote in a Feb. 25 op-ed for the Journal. “Daily White House emergency briefings. Liberal interest-group ads of wheelchairs going over cliffs. President Obama’s cheerleaders in the media screaming that ideologues are killing patients.”

It pretty much writes itself, doesn’t it?

Meanwhile folks will be kicked out of hospitals, nursing homes and cancer centers. Doesn’t sound like catching the car to me.

WEBER: And the sad sack stories about who’s dying from what and why they can’t get their coverage.
JOHNSON: Right.
WEBER: Oh yeah.

Between the teabaggers who loudly and enthusiastically cheered at the question about letting those without insurance die at the 2012 Republican candidate debate and this exchange, there should be no one anywhere in the US of A who has any doubt of the Republican party’s utter contempt for human life.

Yeah, those loser sad sacks dying, all they do is whine, whine.

Supposedly…? WHO filed the lawsuit that put us in this position in the first place!?
It sure as hell wasnt the Democrats. It was the Republicans!!They simply cannot take accountability for a single thing they ever do!.

Fascinating that rich Repubs like Johnson only see Obamacase as poor people getting insurance " on the backs’ of taxpayers, but cannot see the massive costs of millions of people not having insurance (and they clearly have no empathy for all those kids who lack basic health and dental care). Obamacare is slowing health care costs for all, making it possible for people with pre-existing conditions to even get insurance they would pay for, improving overall community health – and they just don’t give a damn.

That would be the Eau de Feingold wafting his way.

And the Repubs know they have the media essentially in their corner because at worst the media will play the false equivalency card. Otherwise the media will blame the President and the Democrats per usual. Never the GOP on their own, perish the thought. Chuck Todd would just not stand for that.
