Discussion: GOP Sen. Says Sanders Accuses O’Care Repeal Supporters Of Murder

The rich man in his castle,
The poor man at his gate,
God™ made them high and lowly,
And ordered their estate.

Read the god damned article; the suit was started by a Trump campaign underling in early 2016 as a political hatchet job which turned the FBI police dogs on a Socialist.

He’s right. The party of the death penalty, blue lives are all that matter, and health care is only for those who can afford it should own their evil.

Larry Wilmore commented that Hillary could be held accountable for things she said in 1992 (e.g. cookies) whereas for Trump the outrage lasted a few hours.

Orrin Hatch, the guy who has taken millions from the supplement industry to avoid oversight of supplements. Rich.

My reply to Senator Hatch on Twitter: “That’s all right. I’m accusing you of doing what the Nazis did to the unfit. Turn back, you fools, before it is too late.” – https://twitter.com/RavenOnthill/status/878653010905145345

Mass murderers actually,

Harsh, but accurate

You may not see it, Orrin, but many people in your state will die because they have been refused health care by your law. They would still be alive if health care hadn’t been taken from them by you, so you killed them, in very real terms.

If you kill with malice, a lot of people would call that murder.

Say what you like about Rodman, that crazy mofo owns any room he walks into.

Fuck you, Orrin.

More the message than the candidate, in the GA6, from what I’ve been hearing. Or at least, the messaging. Too much was focused on trying to win over rural whites, and not enough on trying to maximize turnout. Money diverted from TV ads to gotv efforts (especially in the initial run-off!) could have changed the outcome.

None of which is Pelosi’s fault. She doesn’t run the DCCC or the DNC. I’m all for holding people accountable, but let’s make sure they’re the right people. When your saw breaks its teeth, you don’t throw out your hammer.

As for Maher… Maher had some good ideas… 20 years ago. He’s steeped them deeply and often in his deep and rich pot of bitterness. Does he get things right sometimes? Yes, he does. Does he sometimes go off the deep end? Oh, hell yes. So take what Maher says with a foot-wide salt lick.

Yes, we need to get the messaging down better. But the kind of ideological purity Maher demands will cost seats. He’s basically doing a Susan Sarandon, only in a more cynical way. I’d say it’s wrong to say “Republicans want minorities and the poor to die.”

I’d say it’s right to say “Based on their policies, Republicans don’t care about minorities and the poor, and would happily let them all die if it meant a 0.1% tax cut for the rich.” Or, for the soundbite: “Republicans don’t care who they kill, if there’s a tax cut involved.”

Taos! One of my favorite spots! Make sure you get to the Rio Grande gorge bridge. Beautiful!

Trump’s response is so predictable. He goes in thinking like this is a real estate deal (all things are transactional, right?) and so the strategy is when it gets rough to walk away to force a better deal. LMFAO.

Pearl clutching is so passe.

But Mr Hatch , you voted for the murders to take place .

It’s not murder. At best it’s negligent homicide.

Just temporary, I’m sure.

Probably too focused on ‘solving’ the opioid (?) epidemic, restructuring government, and reinvigorating manufacturing right now.

He’ll get to the Arab-Israeli conflict as soon as those are wrapped up.

Shouldn’t be long…
Any time now…
Real soon…

Mulvaney says the goal of the safety net agencies should be to get people OFF of it. Here’s a way to get people off of healthcare. Make insurance unaffordable. Let 'em die if they can’t afford it. Tax cuts are more important.

Hey! Orrin! How 'bout ‘death by a thousand cuts’… is that more to your liking?
