A good summary, but It was Eisenhower who sent the 101st Airborne to Little Rock in 1957 to integrate schools in Arkansas. Kennedy intervened in Mississippi in 1962 and in Alabama in 1963 over integration of the University of Mississippi and the University of Alabama.
