I would not salute anyone who occasionally does the bare minimum. That Flake shines merely relative to the utter miscreants around him should not be enough to make him worthy of saluting. Nevertheless, he performed a useful service yesterday – which also happens to be one he knows will play well for him.
Voting against Kavanaugh is not a difficult decision for an honest person to make. Pretending otherwise denies reality.
