Where is Pelosi calling for Kelly to resign for his so obviously racist, not to mention condescending and misogynistic, remark?

Dems are seriously retarded for always being so successful at missing great opportunities to rail against Republican racism.

I certainly agree, but no nation lasts for long if its citizens don’t do the hard work of keeping its government on the right track. France and England have been around much longer than the USA, so there is no natural reason why the USA should be nearing its end. The lack of attention to our government that is demonstrated by our very low voter turnout can destroy us. The ignorance of the average Republican, demonstrated by their election of little Donnie as their candidate for president, can destroy us. That same ignorance that lets them believe the most absurd nonsense spouted by their leaders can also destroy us. The Doomsday Clock should be set at 1 minute to midnight because of our election of our current president. But, one minute can become a long time if Republicans will just wake up.

To paraphrase Napoleon Bonaparte—

When your enemy is busy destroying himself, don’t get in his way.

And just why is it Pelosi’s job to do as you command?

Have we ready arrived at the Soviet stage where every critic of the President is one step away from being forcibly sent to a mental asylum (“wacko” congresswoman?).

Any who thought Kelly was going to protect us from tRumps fascist impulses was deluded. I think his attack on Rep Wilson is evidence enough of that.

So apparently this woman is now the biggest danger to our country?! Enough that the president and his cheif of staff are on the warpath against her? What the hell is wrong with everyone at the top of this administration??!!

Remember Deepwater Horizon? And how folks like ChuckTodd and Morning Puke whined like babies about how Obama wasnt fixing it soon enough, wasn’t “focused” on it!? Do the same jackasses even mention Puerto Rico while top administration officials are obsessed with destroying one minority congressman?

Self righteous rant complete.

"when your enemy is busy …’

No sign of destruction yet. Not even an iota.

If anything, Kelly, with the credibility that his background brings, further cements the position of our racist President. There has to be a strong pushback from Dem leaders otherwise this will become routine.

Another GS wife got a call from Trump and her family supposedly filmed it. That is no surprise at all to me in this day and age. The widow was told when to expect the call, the calls themselves, are pretty much a staged event. I would suspect that sharing a presidential call happens quite often, no matter if it was from Obama or Trump.

Kelly willingly joined this administration. He believes in trumps agenda and is fighting tooth and nail to get it done. He is a xenipobic right wing nut job. Being in the military is no guarantee of being a good moral person who tries to advance everyone and as someone who will watch out for the unlucky poor who are so only because of where they were born.

Kelly lied about Rep. Wilson, and he lied about what Trump said.
He has little to no credibility left.

It’s already routine, and there’s plenty of push-back.

Actually, I think not.

Now that Trump has gotten Kelly to “perform” for him – including, apparently telling a demonstrable lie on his behalf, Trump will do what Trump does, which is destroy Kelly to prove to himself his dominance over him. We’ve seen this play out time and again. The first step to a wraithing is to get the victim to compromise himself in public. Next comes belittlement and further public degradation. Once a victim turns down this road it’s pretty much impossible to turn back.

I think there are some flaws in our governing doctrines that will never be fixed, thus ending us. Our proclivity for gun violence, and all the carnage and angst and division that causes, stems from an interpretation of the 2nd Amendment that politically will never change. The 2nd Amendment’s imprecise wording has saddled us with a lot of death and misery. Neither France or England has to contend with a citizenry armed to the teeth and itching to pull the trigger at the slightest provocation.

Secondly, we do not install Presidents the majority of citizens want in the White House. The Electoral College is a stain, a perversion of democracy. Changing it likely isn’t happening.

Third, the institution of slavery, its abolition, and all the years of turmoil trying to both adjust to that and make amends has poisoned the country. The Emancipation Proclamation was issued in 1862. 155 years later we’re shooting unarmed black people in the back for failure to signal a traffic turn. The effects of slavery is the United States’ polonium. It’s stuck in our bloodstream, impervious to being cleansed from our pores.

No, I think structurally, historically, legally we were doomed from the start. It’s been one long death throe since the late 1700s.

The irony is that, what Kelly is accusing Wilson of doing is exaggerating in order take credit for something. This has been his boss’s chief modus operandi for as long as we’ve known him. Trump does far worse on a daily basis.

She’s really upset here. You can hear the emotion in her repetitions of how dare he lie. We haven’t heard the last of this.

She is right. Kelly’s spat with her has gotten totally personal. That is exactly what Kelly wanted. The heat about what actually happened in Niger is totally off the administration.

Personally I am more interested in what the soldiers were doing in Niger and why they were travelling down a road in light vehicles when it was ambushed.

Does Rep. Wilson have legal grounds to sue Kelly for slander?

Kelly: “Mauron’s Spazgul King”

Not only that – the accusation implies that Obama just handed her 20 million because she is African American and had a direct line to him. The racism beneath his contemptuous mendacious statements is clear. He called her an empty barrel – no intellect or substance that qualifies her for the office she holds. This was the same attack used against Obama. Trump repeatedly demanded Obama’s college transcripts. This is apparently what both Kelly and Trump actually believe about African Americans.
