Imagine what happens when SCOTUS clears the way for gay marriage nationally…

First the Confederate flag being dumped by Southern states and major retailers … and now this.
Social conservatives will need the ACA, as many of them would otherwise be unable to get their ulcers treated.

Judges can be impeached, right? Maybe House GOPers can get to work on impeaching Roberts. Keep 'em busy!

Pretty funny, given that the common language was what saved the law. Just you cannot just read one sentence and assume the rest is wrong. Also, it was a matter of interrupting the law and not anything more. Nothing was rewritten. It is political grand standing, but conservatives are great at that and holding grudges. I question alot of Roberts decisions like in Hobby Lobby, but this one was straight forward.

Now you see what happens? We take down the flag of their heritage and pretty soon we’re sliding down the slippery slope of making health insurance affordable for all the coloreds.

I’m happy to call the law ScotusCare as the Justice suggested. Every premium that’s too high, eligibility criterion that’s too stingy, treatment coverage that’s inadequate, and for every Republican lawsuit to block it, make it stingier, crappier or take it away altogether: ScotusCare, ScotusCare, ScotusCare and more ScotusCare.

Some useful info info to keep in mind when someone complains about a law having too many pages:

PPACA: ~ 900 ppp
Dodd-Frank: ~850 pp
Bible (Old+New Testaments): ~1,400 pp

I wouldn’t go that far, but they’d probably be delicious on beer nuts.

Fox News host Andrea Tantaros called Roberts “the water boy for the welfare state.”

Yes, paying for your own health insurance now qualifies as “welfare”.

The Right expands their definition of “welfare” and “Socialism” on a daily basis.

At another site I saw that at least some wingnuts want to impeach Roberts for this. I don’t think that means what they think it means, but I’d probably support such a move.

The linguistic knots these “Conservatives” are willing to tie themselves into in an attempt to justify their ongoing contempt for the American System of Government is downright amazing (and their disgusting attempt to blame it all on “Teh Blacks”.)
It’s called the “Balance of Powers” in the Constitution.
The Congress writes and approves the funding for the laws.
The Executive Branch signs the laws and controls how they are implemented via the Cabinet.
The Judicial Branch interprets the Constitutionality of anything that Congress passes and the President signs.
DUH!
Read it sometime you “morans”.

Judging from the example of Andrea Tantaros, it seems all that is required to become a noteworthy conservative personality is the ability to consistently say stupid shit.

I’m relieved, but I temper my joy with the memory of last year’s Hobby Lobby outrage.
