Discussion: 5 Points On The Most Stunning Revelations In NYMag's Ailes Bombshell

You know, all kidding aside, it’s really sad we’re witnessing something so awful. It’s not like they both don’t deserve it – in spades – but the fact that the GOP allowed itself to follow its Devil side for so long. FOX Entertainment was bad from the get-go. Roger Ailes knew exactly what he had in mind, he just had no idea how wildly successful he’d be. Rupert Murdoch was a bad apple to begin with, too. The only reason that jackass is even a citizen and accumulated so much media power was because Saint Ronnie pushed for changes in the FCC rules and laws regulating just who could hold media licenses, how much control could be held by any one entity in any given media market and that all-time GOP hated Fairness Doctrine. Ronald Reagan was one of the worst boils on America’s ass that most Americans don’t even know they had. Every single Republican since Richard M. Nixon has been baneful to America.

Let’s all hope that this is the down fall of FOX News and the far right evil media empire Ailes built. The Murdoch Brothers need to do a total house clearing from lower management to the very top along with all their current Hosts and Producers. They need to change their format to what their slogan says “Fair & Balance” which they haven’t been for the last fifteen or more years, only when they first started the network were they fair & Balance and then they took a hard shift to the right going ever more extreme with each pasting year. And stop being the propaganda channel of the Republican Party.

O yeah. I couldn’t agree more with all of your comment. It’s really sad that we got to a point in our politics that was so godawful and I sometimes cannot believe what the GOP has done to us, let alone themselves. It’s mind -boggling to me that things have gotten to the point of Trump.

Look for RT and Breitbart to be part of any Trump nationalist TV network with Skinhead Putin as frequent guest…and the willfully lunatic Russian troll farm system joining the right wing conservative news pipeline.

Hannity, Pat Buchanan, Rod Dreher and his persecuted Christian American Conservative crew doing prime time. Giuliani and his security team doing the daily terror reports. Chris Christie as loyal intern showing up in kneepads reporting directly to Roger Ailes. Ann Coulter has the 6 o’clock spot. (Projectile vomit inducing Cloverfield Lane end of days material)

Speaking of which, Buchanan was the 1st Republican and Giuliani the 2nd to publicly praise Putin for his “moral Christian” and “political leadership” in the world and in the Ukraine back in 2014.

Breitbart, RT, with RT’s English speaking Russian female “reporters” crossing and recrossing their legs.

Reacquiring former Breitbart, Daily Caller hack Charles Johnson from the minor leagues to do conspiracy “soft news” and Ben Shapiro covering Casa Blanca and President Clinton to give the network some cheap Chris Wallace “blizzard of lies” gravitas.

Clearly not getting the point. If you want to lower yourself to the Rs standards, go for it. Most adults of the democratic persuasion are above such childishness.

All of that is kind of a given. It’s his feeling he has a right to private shows by these that he directs (turn around, lift your skirt, whatever) and hands-on time with the merchandise that is the problem.

She also used to be Michael Dukakis’s campaign manager for his Presidential run.

They aren’t.

If ethical attorneys did this, they’d have to recuse themselves due to conflicts of interest.

White “blue collar” non college educated males. Trump has a big lead with them…its the only group that he is outperforming Romney, and he is out performing him considerably.

Essentially, Trump’s campaign is putting to test the theory that some on the right starting arguing after the “autopsy”…that there is enough Whites out there that didn’t vote to more than make up the difference with Blacks and Hispanics. And, I suspect, we will be hearing more on that theory following this campaign too…only now it will be “If only Trump could have gotten those white women and college educated whites, too”.

This election though, even more than 2012, is about the Electoral College. Because while Trump may do well with White, blue collar males…they are not the majority in any state. And so…he is WAY behind in the EV count. What is it now, 9 out of the 11 “battleground” states now have Hillary leading by margins exceeding the margins of error? And the polls continue to show that the electorate is locking down rapidly; in excess of 90% of those polled are solid in their choice, with less than 8% undecided.

The only thing that is really still in play there is that 8% and the Johnson/Stein vote, which will start to decline rather rapidly after the 1st debate (3rd party support always does).

The press of course wants to talk up a “horse race” and “tightening polls” and an imaginary pivot that is just over the next hill…but the reality that is coming back to us is, this race has been pretty much over since the conventions, and if anything, has gradually been slipping even more towards Hillary.

Trump has no way to realistically get back in this thing, even if there was some magical pivot. He has no ground game and its too late to build one, he has no advertising strategy, and still hasn’t put up a single ad from his vaunted “$10 million” ad buy (which turned out to only be $2.3 million, and it appears to be turning out to be $0 in actual ads). As we were talking in another thread…she has 55 field offices in Florida alone, all of them busy. He has 1, still trying to figure out what field offices are supposed to do.

These are the type of things that drive the home stretch in campaigning. Debates are nice to move that 8%+independent support towards your column of course, but its ground games that put people in the ballot boxes. And Trump simply doesn’t have one. Look for a bump towards Hillary in the final weeks when all the polls start clustering, that reflects early voting and this disparity in ground games.

Your democratic “adult high standards” sound satiric. Like a PR flack doing a lefty “above the fray” imitation of Neil Cavuto. Someone like Cavuto would have added the words “mean spirited.” So what-Ailes-ya?

In the trade a guy like that is known as a pimp.

Ha ha, mayhaps I can share the ad idea with some…but really, just too gross. It would be cruelty to animals (AKA humans exposed)

Also try misspelling her first name and see what you find.

Gross is gold when we’re talking aversion therapy. And the point of this vile obscenity effectively directing the Trump campaign needs to be shouted from the rooftops by all and any means possible!
